Making ours a Beautiful World, one Young Voice at a Time

All Children's Chorus of Annapolis (ACCA) is a community chorus that strives for vocal excellence, diversity in our membership, and making a difference in the lives of our children by teaching them the rewards of hard work, team play and service to the community.

We are proud of our comprehensive vocal education program that includes regular individual vocal instruction for each child.  Our weekly rehearsals focus on vocal technique, ear training, Kodály solfege exercises, and performance discipline.

The members of ACCA are serious about their music. There are three levels for children ages 7 to 18:  Training Chorus, Treble Chorus and Chamber Singers.  The artistic directors select music carefully to ensure the artistic merit, the challenge to the children, and a diversity of styles. Members of the chorus have been selected to participate in the highly regarded All-State Choruses, Honor Choirs of the American Choral Directors Association conferences, as well as having landed roles with most regional theater companies including Washington National Opera.  ACCA is the pride of Annapolis.

We welcome and actively seek children from different racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and neighborhoods. Our children attend different places of worship and schools in Annapolis and the surrounding areas.   Our music provides the choristers the opportunity to sing in different languages and across the boundaries of other cultures and theologies.  Membership is by audition.

A non-profit 501(c)(3) Maryland corporation, our funds are raised through tuition, fundraising projects, an annual fundraising concert, and private and corporate donations.

Summer Choral Festival - June 26, 2015

We are thrilled to announce that ACCA will be hosting our second annual ACCA Summer Choral Festival on June 26, 2015. ACCA has recognized an immediate need to give younger elementary aged singers in the greater Annapolis area, an opportunity to have a “mountain-top” choral music education and performance experience. There are plenty of opportunities for elementary singers to participate in musical theater camps and workshops throughout the summer, but these programs do not usually enhance and improve a child’s music literacy (their ability to read and comprehend musical notation) and choral performance practice.

This 1-day honor choir festival will bring together young singers and give them the experience of participating in a large festival choir, similar to an all-county or all-state chorus. Singers will rehearse and perform challenging, diverse and engaging repertoire over the course of the festival, and return to their home schools and communities as leaders in their music programs with renewed passion for choral music and singing.

The festival will be open to singers entering grades 4, 5, and 6 in the fall of 2015. Singers will not need to audition to participate, but they will need to be recommended by their school music teacher. Singers will receive their music and a practice CD in May and will be asked to prepare their music independently before the festival.

The tuition cost of the festival is $65 and includes their music, festival t-shirt, Friday dinner and 1 festival concert ticket.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, singers will NOT be excluded for financial reasons.    A tuition assistance request form can be found on
the website.  Please contact Kelly at if you know of a student who would benefit from this...we are actively seeking up to 10 students to benefit from this grant!

Welcome 2014-2015 singers!   Documents and practice tracks are located in the Chorus Corner!
